Winning a Giveaway
The latest complaint against Whatnot streamer Weezyworld involves a collector who won a free giveaway pack during one of his streams. The pack was opened on stream and pulled a SAR Mega Dragonite JP from Mega Dream — a genuinely valuable pull.
Immediately after winning, the collector was blocked.
No card. No communication. No explanation.
The original poster gave Weezyworld the benefit of the doubt initially, hoping it was a mistake and that the giveaway would still be honored. It was not.
This incident on its own might be written off as a misunderstanding. But it does not exist in isolation.
The Missing Pack Incident
A separate buyer reported purchasing two packs from Weezyworld and receiving only one. When they reached out, Weezyworld responded initially but then went silent — stopping replies while continuing to respond to everyone else in his live streams.
After getting no resolution the buyer decided to leave a one star review. That is when things got interesting.
Enter Papa Weezy
Rather than addressing the missing pack issue, Papa Weezy — who describes himself as Weezyworld's father and handles all shipping and customer service — sent the buyer an unsolicited DM.
The message, documented in screenshots, reads in part:
"I know that you're new and before you leave a review of one on his site which you're in you know you're a very small fish and a very large ocean leaving the one all you have to do is message me."
The "small fish in a large ocean" framing — sent directly to a buyer who simply wanted their missing pack — reads as an attempt to intimidate a customer out of leaving a legitimate negative review.
Papa Weezy went on to suggest the buyer made a "rookie move" by leaving a review before contacting them directly — despite the buyer clearly documenting that they had messaged Weezyworld multiple times with no response.
The buyer's response was direct: they had messaged and received replies initially, then suddenly heard nothing for days.
The Stack Incident
A third Reddit thread raises a different kind of concern entirely. A viewer watching a Weezyworld stream posted asking:
"Am I tripping or does Weezyworld put a card into the stack?"
The post includes a screenshot appearing to show a hand slipping a card into a pile during a stream — a serious allegation if true, suggesting the outcomes of breaks may not be as random as they appear.
The Payment Meltdown
A fourth documented incident involves a buyer whose payment failed. In the roughly 20 seconds it would have taken to fix the payment issue, Weezyworld reportedly began speaking disrespectfully about the buyer on stream.
That Reddit post, which received 81 upvotes and 80 comments, concluded with a clear warning to the community:
"His attitude is trash and he doesn't view his buyers as people."
A commenter on that thread added: "Just had a run in with Papa Weezy, what a tool. Can't believe people support these scammers."
The Pattern
What makes the Weezyworld situation notable is not any single incident — it is the accumulation:
- A giveaway winner blocked immediately after pulling a valuable card
- A buyer short shipped who then received an intimidating DM for leaving a review
- A stream viewer who noticed what appeared to be a card being inserted into a pile
- A buyer whose payment failed being talked about disrespectfully on stream in real time
Each incident alone might be explainable. Together they paint a picture the community deserves to know about.
